“The Port Authority of Jamaica (The Authority or PAJ) is a statutory corporation established by the Port Authority Act of 1972. It is Jamaica’s principal maritime agency responsible for the development and regulation of Jamaica’s seaports. The PAJ reports directly to the Ministry of Economic Growth & Job Creation (MEGJC).
